License
You must hold an NZ Civil Drivers License (Full or Restricted as a Minimum)
Age Requirements
You must be over 16 years of age or have a MSNZ Competition License and have a Gaurdian present for the duration of the event.
Race Suit
Race Suit – Minimum of SFI 3.2A/1 Rating ( Single Layer ) or better.
Footwear
You must wear closed footwear at all times during our events
Helmet
Wear a Good Condition Motorsport Style Helmet that is manufactured to an approved safety standard, preferably in compliance with the standards set out in Motorsport New Zealand Manual – Schedule A (see our FAQ page)
Extra Information
Note – From 1st August 2020 100% Cotton overalls will no longer be accepted.
Terms of Entry
Also as a condition of your entry being accepted, you must agree to the following terms.
1. Your Entry Acceptance
In consideration of the acceptance of this entry and of my being permitted to take part in this Event. I agree not to pursue claims against and (severally) to hold harmless, indemnify and keep indemnified All event organisers and promoters, race circuit owners, providers and operators, owners and tenants of private property (including land, buildings and/or fixtures, fittings and chattels) traversed, or proximate to events, officials, fellow competitors, and the directors, officers, servants, representatives and agents of those entities (all together “the Indemnified Parties”) in relation to all losses, actions, expenses, costs, liabilities, claims and demands in respect of death, injury, loss or damage to persons or property of myself, and/or my team (including drivers, co-drivers, passengers, management and/or mechanics) whatsoever, caused or arising out of or in connection with this entry or taking part in the events to which this entry relates, notwithstanding that such death, injury, loss or damage may have been contributed to or caused by the negligence of any of the Indemnified Parties and/or by any other person. This provision confers a benefit on, and is intended to be enforceable by, each of the Indemnified Parties (in accordance with the Contracts (Privity) Act 1982).
2. Ability To Control A Vehicle Declaration By Driver
Ability to Control a Vehicle Declaration by Driver: I declare that should I at the time of any event this entry form relates to be suffering from any disability of any kind whether permanent or temporary which is likely to detrimentally affect my control of my automobile or my fitness to drive, I will not participate
3. Vehicle Safety
I declare that my vehicle is of sound condition and safe to participate in this event , furthermore I give consent to my vehicle being subject to a safety audit by event officials to confirm compliance with the minimum requirements for this event.
4. Image Use
I permit Christchurch Trackdays to use any images of myself and my vehicle to be used for purposes of promoting future events.
